Guinness Vanhellemont (B.1997) is an artist/photographer, working and living in Antwerp, Belgium.

His work explores the foundations of photography and its processes through continuous investigations and experimentation.

By pushing the boundaries of traditional photographic techniques, he alters both chemical and technological processes to create distorted, abstracted imagery. At the same time, he revisits and reinterprets conventional genres, challenging their established forms.

“Photography teaches me to see differently, becoming more aware of how I see. Even the most banal objects and moments can transform through the optics and mechanics of the lens. I like making pictures I haven’t seen before.”
